2. Scope of Data Deletion

When you submit a deletion request, we will delete (or anonymize) the following personal data we hold about you, subject to the exceptions outlined in Section 5:

  • Account information: Name, email address, username, and social login identifiers (e.g., via Nextend Social Login plugin).

  • Profile image: Avatar or any image you have provided.

  • Content submitted: Comments, posts, transaction or order history, and other contributions.

  • Preferences and settings: Stored preferences, account settings, and marketing subscriptions associated with your account.

  • Metadata and logs: Any metadata or logs uniquely tied to your account, where deletable.

3. How to Submit a Deletion Request

To request deletion of your data, please submit the following via email at  [email protected] or through our Contact Us form:

  • Full Name

  • Registered Email Address / Username

  • Account ID (if applicable)

  • A clear statement: “I hereby request deletion of all personal data that bedesi holds about me.”

  • Optional: Reason for your request (this will not affect whether we process your request).

Verification:
Once we receive your request, we will send a verification email to confirm your identity. We will not proceed with deletion until your identity is verified.

4. Timeline & Confirmation

  • We aim to respond to your verified request within 30 calendar days.

  • After processing, we will send a confirmation email. At this point:

    • Your account will be deleted or fully anonymized.

    • You will no longer be able to log in with the deleted account.

    • We will remove your data from our live systems and instruct third-party service providers to delete associated data where feasible.

5. Exceptions & Legal Retention

In certain cases, we may not be able to delete all data immediately or at all due to:

  • Legal or regulatory obligations (e.g., financial, tax, or audit records)

  • Ongoing legal claims or disputes

  • Data that has been irreversibly anonymized and no longer constitutes personal information

  • Backup systems, where deletion may require time to propagate

If any exception applies, we will notify you of the reason and provide an estimated timeframe for deletion if possible.

6. Withdrawal of Social Login & Linked Accounts

If you used a social login, you may also wish to remove or unlink that login via your social account provider. Our deletion process does not automatically remove your data from the social provider’s platform.
